“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” Psalm 147:3.
Have you ever felt stuck, or handicapped in relationships? In these reoccurring relationships you might be bullied, manipulated, abandoned, rejected, physically damaged, find yourself angry much of the time, or are fearful. Such relationships are replays of wounds hidden within your heart and soul. Some happen at such an early age you are not consciously able to remember, but your heart and soul may steer the course of your life to such people over and over. Or you find yourself avoiding or disliking people whose behavior is like the person who has wounded you, and you may not know why. Such wounds can make life awkward or painful, limiting and draining. In Christ, there is a way to freedom.
Personally, I had a deep wound in my heart from my toddler years. That wound handicapped me in much of my life and work. In such contacts, I was clueless about relating to an aggressive, overbearing person, much like a person who had wounded me. Repeatedly, I encounter such people. My shy, withdraw nature drew back more, avoiding such people, until I was old enough where my avoidance impacted my family life and ministry.
As a Christian, I prayed for ways to respond to overbearing people in my adult professional life, until I discovered a ministry focused on inner healing (heart healing). This discovery began a transformation of my life, refreshing my heart, soul, and mind. In my 35-year journey of inner healing, I not only discovered the young injuries creating my insecure life, but so many other interactions, rejections, fears, lies, and patterns of our family, my friends, and classmates which have handicapped with the ways in which I have navigated my life. Step by step, I took those memories captive and handed them over to the Lord in exchange for more of Him.
Once I discovered, I regularly prayed with a trained inner healing minister. During such a session, Jesus reveals to the receiver ways they are celebrated. What a wonderful time of the inner healing session to be rejoiced and loved on by the Healer. Then the inner healing minister, invites Jesus to reveal an incident He wants out in the open for love and healing. As the receiver accepts Christ’s healing, they are set on a journey towards greater peace and joy, allowing them to navigate life with less darkness and with eyes to discover a New Life in Christ.
If this is you, seek out a local healing ministry location like: Healing Rooms, trained Inner Healing or Heart Healing Ministers, or churches who train people to minister in this way. Finally, you can pray for Jesus to reveal what heart wound might be holding you back this Spring Season so that you might Become Free in Him!
